Marco Baio is a lawyer admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) with over 20 years of experience both inside and outside the courtroom. A defense lawyer registered with the Rome Criminal Bar Association, he is recognized as an Expert in Criminal Law and Procedure by the Rome Bar Association. He is the founder of the Baio Legal and Tax Firm, an independent boutique law firm with offices in Rome and Pomezia (RM), which primarily deals with criminal law (including military and juvenile law as well as penitentiary law), tax law, and civil law.
He is a lecturer and speaker at numerous courses and conferences on criminal law and family law. A member of the Rome Criminal Bar Association and various associations for the promotion of legal values, he is a co-founder of the ITALEX JAG network, specialized in the CRIMINAL DEFENSE OF MILITARY PERSONNEL.
